Bloodborne has three endings, and only one of them is genuine transcendence. The Moon Presence ending requires consuming three Umbilical Cords — items found across the game in locations with no quest marker directing you to them — before triggering the final boss. This converts the player character from a human dreamer into a Great One.
Didn’t realise how much was hidden under the surface. Makes me want to replay it with fresh eyes.
This is why I always check every corner. You never know what’s been left for the observant player.
