One specific pilot — Abe, a bonus character — has a dialogue line that changes based on how many times he has died across all your playthroughs. By the twentieth death, his dialogue references the accumulated losses in a way that the game otherwise never acknowledges. The line was discovered by dedicated players tracking pilot death counts across extended play.

The level of craft hidden in the background of this game is genuinely moving. They made it for someone.
